"A country with strong transportation network" is a major strategic initiative for high-quality development of the national economy in the new era. Artificial intelligence, as a strategic leading technology, is the core driving force behind the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. Artificial intelligence technology empowers various modes of transportation such as railways, aviation, roads, and waterways, serving as an important avenue for the development of new productive forces in the field of intelligent transportation.
The transportation system is gradually evolving towards intelligence, unmanned and autonomy. Autonomous transportation, characterized by the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology and transportation technology, has emerged as a result. And it is a more advanced stage of the development of intelligent transportation system. The development of autonomous transportation will shape new forms and models of future transportation systems and powerfully support the strategy of a country with strong transportation network.
The 2024 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Transportation (AIAT 2024) will be held in Beijing from December 6-8, 2024. AIAT 2024 aims to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and industry experts in the fields of transportation, artificial intelligence, and automation to exchange ideas, promote scientific research, academic discussions, and industrial innovation in the interdisciplinary areas of artificial intelligence and autonomous transportation.
