Welcome to AIAT2026

Artificial intelligence is driving the transportation system toward a safer, more efficient, greener, more inclusive, and more sustainable direction. Facing the common needs of global mobility services, logistics and transportation, infrastructure operation and maintenance, and traffic safety, the deep integration of artificial intelligence and transportation technology provides new methods and tools for enhancing system resilience, operational efficiency, and public travel experience. As transportation systems gradually evolve toward intelligent, unmanned, and autonomous directions, autonomous transportation—centered on autonomous perception, intelligent decision-making, cooperative control, and safety assurance—is becoming an important direction in the development of smart transportation systems. Relevant research and applications will continue to drive innovations in the form, operation mode, and service capability of transportation systems, better serving sustainable development and human well-being. The 2026 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Transportation (AIAT 2026) will be held in Wuhan from December 4–6, 2026. AIAT 2026 aims to provide an open and professional international exchange platform for researchers, engineers, and industry experts in the fields of transportation, artificial intelligence, and automation, focusing on frontier trends, key technical needs, and application practices in the field, to promote interdisciplinary scientific research cooperation and industrial innovation development.
